![]() A new difficulty was added that is placed in-between "Hard" and "Break the Limit", "Extreme".Īs with the first game, lyrics are more of the focus of the song rather than the rhythm and beats. Returning modes include "PV", where players can watch the PVs of the various songs in the game, and "Break the Limit", whereby it is an even more extreme version of the game. Like the first game, the game's PVs are pre-rendered with graphics akin to that of the Dreamy Theater series or Project DIVA Arcade. Songs featuring KAITO and MEIKO were added later as DLC. The game features songs sung by Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, and Megurine Luka, all of whom were absent from the first Miku Flick. Players can pick their songs using a Cover Flow system from a selection of songs. ![]() Free download via 2D M3NTION site.Gameplay is unchanged from the first game. ![]() Free albums are the best kind of albums, wouldn’t you agree? =P Below are two different mixes of the song, and one of them is an additional mix not included in the album, created by Revolution Boi (and also free for download!). Some are slow and relaxing while others are extremely upbeat. Official site and download for Remix EP: Įach track is the same song, but in a completely different style. Official site and download for original mix: And just like their last release, it’s completely free for download! You can not only download the original mix and watch the official PV on their site, but you can obtain the remix album with 7 additional tracks. Thankfully, the release of this new album comes under much happier circumstances. You can view the pv for that release here. For those of you unfamiliar, the song and album was released as a tribute to the tsunami disaster in Japan earlier last year. It’s been over a year since we’ve last seen a Vocaloid release from the circle known as 2D M3NTION Records, with their last hit being the song “Love Song Excuse” along with various remixes. So even though I’m horribly late with this one, enjoy the video below if you have not yet done so. Overall, it’s a very interesting idea that will likely lead other people trying to create their own versions of the mod. This is likely attributed to either the Kinect’s low resolution camera, or the low processing power of the system that needed to be small enough to make it portable. ![]() The only downside to this system seems to be the somewhat poor image detail. You can move her tie, pat on her head, and even try to grope her (but she wont be very pleased with this). ![]() However, the creator did add in some reactions and physics for when you try to “touch” the character. For the most part she seems to follow you around where ever you go, and doesn’t seem to do much interaction-wise. The system manages to work quite well at keeping track of Miku’s position, even when you’re not “facing” in her general direction. So a man in Japan has managed to create a system that projects a 3D image of Hatsune Miku onto the surrounding environment using a special pair of goggles equipped with a Kinect sensor. This will teach me a lesson to not let even seemingly small Vocaloid gadget videos slip by. It is rather neat though, so I’ll add it here for those of you who haven’t seen it yet. But it’s exploding in popularity, even to the point where the official Hatsune Miku facebook page posted about it. I’m not really late to the party with this one, I just never thought of making a post about it when I first saw this (however, I did post about it two weeks ago here). ![]()
